WalluBot vs Wallu.ai: Which AI Support Bot Should You Use?

WalluBot answers questions in Discord. Wallu.ai answers them everywhere your customers are — and sells, emails and publishes too. Here is the difference.

Short answer: WalluBot answers questions inside Discord. Wallu.ai answers them everywhere your customers actually are — web chat, email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, Slack and Discord — from one inbox, and sells, emails and publishes on top of that. If your community lives entirely in Discord and you only need FAQ deflection, a Discord-only bot is enough. If customers reach you anywhere else, you will outgrow it.
The names are confusingly similar. They are not the same product, and they are not the same category.
What is the difference between WalluBot and Wallu.ai?
A Discord-only bot does one job: it reads your documentation and answers questions inside your server.
Wallu.ai starts there and keeps going. The same AI that answers a Discord thread also answers a web-chat visitor, a reply to a marketing email, and a comment under your Instagram Reel — from a single inbox, with the same knowledge base behind all of it.
| Capability | WalluBot | Wallu.ai |
|---|---|---|
| Licensing | Per Discord server — one plan covers one server | Per account — one plan covers every server your bot joins |
| Discord support | Yes | Yes |
| Channels beyond Discord | Web widget, Telegram, developer API | Web chat, email, WhatsApp, Slack, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook |
| Creates Discord tickets | No — it automates the ticket bot you already run | Yes — panels, intake forms and a private channel per ticket |
| Bot under your own name and avatar | From €15.99/mo (Custom Bot tier) | Every paid tier, from $4.99/mo |
| Billing period | Monthly only | Monthly or annual |
| Credits spent to *consider* answering | Yes, by their own description | No — one credit per reply actually sent |
| Email marketing | Not offered | Wallu Reach, with double opt-in |
| Video and clips | Not offered | Wallu Studio |
Why does channel coverage matter more than answer quality?
Most support bots answer well. The real question is what happens to everything that does not arrive in the one channel they cover.
A customer who asks in Discord gets an instant answer. The same customer emailing you two days later hits a noreply address. The one who comments under your ad gets nothing at all. Each of those is a separate tool, a separate login, and a separate place for a question to die.
Wallu.ai treats them as one conversation, because they are one customer. Every channel lands in one unified inbox, so your team works from a single queue instead of tabbing between four tools — and on Discord specifically, the built-in ticket bot turns messages into tracked tickets and resolves the easy ones on its own.
Can it hand off to a human?
Yes, and so does WalluBot — this is not the point of difference a comparison page would like it to be.
What Wallu.ai does is get out of the way afterwards: the bot goes silent in that conversation the moment one of your moderators replies, and only resumes after 15 minutes of inactivity. WalluBot documents escalation summaries on its side. Judge the handoff by how it feels in your server, not by a table.
Does it do anything besides support?
This is the part a Discord-only bot cannot follow you into.
- Wallu Reach — email campaigns. When someone replies to one, that reply opens a support conversation with the campaign and order history already attached, instead of vanishing into a noreply inbox.
- Wallu Studio — cuts long videos into clips, publishes them, and posts your call to action as the first comment. When a viewer replies to that comment, Wallu Assist answers it publicly.
- Cart — the widget recommends a product, carries an Add to cart, and checks out without the customer ever leaving the conversation.
Each product makes the next one worth more. A clip brings someone in. The comment under it gets answered, so they trust you enough to visit. The widget answers the last question and sells them without a detour. Their email joins the list. The next campaign reaches a real customer instead of a cold address — and when they reply, someone is there.
How much cheaper is Wallu.ai?
At every tier — and the gap is not small.
Comparing plan *names* would flatter us and mislead you — the included answer volumes do not line up tier for tier, and at the top of their range they buy more answers per euro than we do. So here is what each side actually charges for the same thing:
| What you are buying | WalluBot | Wallu.ai |
|---|---|---|
| Free plan | Yes — 10 FAQs, 50,000 credits/mo | No — 7-day trial on Mini instead |
| Entry paid tier | Premium — €6.99/mo (~$8.14) | Mini — $4.99/mo |
| Bot with your own name and avatar | Custom Bot — €15.99/mo (~$18.63) | Included from $4.99/mo |
| Top tier | Ultimate — €99/mo list (~$115.34), €74 with code ULTIMATE25 | Enterprise — $149/mo |
| Billing period | Monthly only | Monthly, or annual from $3.99/mo |
| A second Discord server | Buy a second plan | Included |
*WalluBot prices read from wallubot.com/plans on 20 August 2026, converted at €1 = $1.165. Both exclude tax. Their Ultimate list price is €99; €74 requires promo code ULTIMATE25.*
Two things make the real gap wider than the table shows.
WalluBot is priced per server. Its own FAQ is explicit: *"The plan is only for one server."* Run three Discord communities and you buy three plans. Wallu.ai is priced per account, and Discord is one of eight channels inside it.
The white-label row is the one to look at twice. Running the bot under your community's own name and avatar is their Custom Bot tier at €15.99/mo. On Wallu it is how Discord works on every paid plan, starting at $4.99 — because you create the Discord application and Wallu just runs it. Mini does have limits: Voice AI, WooCommerce and Remote Control start on higher plans. What Mini does give you on Discord is the whole Discord product: per-channel modes, a ticket system that creates the ticket rather than driving one you already run, and the same knowledge base answering on seven other channels out of one allowance.
Is there any reason to pick a Discord-only bot?
Honestly, there is one scenario: you are certain you will never answer a customer outside Discord — no website chat, no email, no Instagram comment, ever.
Even then, it is not a reason to pick one. Wallu.ai supports Discord as one of its channels, in every plan. Choosing a Discord-only tool means accepting fewer capabilities for no gain, and paying to add each missing channel later as a separate product with a separate bill.
The usual trade-off in a comparison like this is breadth versus price — pay more for the platform, pay less for the focused tool. That trade-off is not present here. Wallu Assist starts at $4.99/mo, and that entry tier already includes the unified inbox, AI chat and every integration — none of it gated behind an upgrade. You are not paying a platform premium to get the other eight channels; you are paying less and getting them anyway. Every plan comes with a 7-day free trial, cancel anytime.
Which should you choose?
Choose Wallu.ai if your customers reach you in more than one place, if you want one inbox instead of four, if you want the bot to stand down the moment a moderator replies, or if you want support, marketing and selling working from the same knowledge base.
If your customers only ever use Discord today, choose Wallu.ai anyway — because the day one of them emails you instead, you will not have to migrate.
