Frequently asked questions
Do I need WooCommerce API keys to connect Wallu?
No. Install the free Wallu connector plugin on your WordPress site and paste one key from your Wallu dashboard. The plugin talks to WooCommerce from inside WordPress, so there are no consumer keys or secrets to generate, copy or rotate, and nothing sensitive is stored outside your own site.
Can Wallu tell customers where their order is?
Yes. Wallu looks the order up in WooCommerce by order number or email and replies with the real status and tracking information. It does this on whatever channel the customer used, so the same answer works in your website chat, Instagram DMs, WhatsApp and email without you configuring each one separately.
Can Wallu recommend products and create discount codes?
Yes. Wallu recommends products from your real WooCommerce catalogue, never invented ones, and can generate a genuine WooCommerce coupon within limits you set: a maximum discount percentage, a monthly budget, and whether the AI is allowed to discount at all. It can also build a cart link with the product and the code already applied.
Will the plugin slow my store down?
No. The connector only runs when Wallu asks it a question, and the chat widget loads asynchronously after your page, so it does not block rendering or affect your Core Web Vitals. The plugin is a few hundred kilobytes and adds no database tables or scheduled jobs of its own.
