What permissions does the Wallu bot need on my Discord server?
Wallu needs Read Messages, Send Messages, Read Message History and Embed Links in the channels you want it to answer in. If you use Discord's built-in ticket or thread features, add Create Public Threads and Send Messages in Threads. Wallu never needs administrator, ban or role-management permissions, and you choose the exact channels it can see.
How does Wallu learn what to say about my server?
Point Wallu at your existing material and it builds the knowledge base itself: your website, help centre, PDFs, or a plain-text FAQ you paste in. It can also read past conversations in the channels you allow, so answers match how your moderators already phrase things. You can correct any answer, and the correction is remembered.
Can Wallu hand a conversation over to a human moderator?
Yes. When Wallu is unsure, or when a member asks for a person, the conversation escalates and lands in your Wallu inbox with the full transcript attached. Your moderator replies from the dashboard and the reply goes back out in Discord. Wallu also watches sentiment and escalates on its own when a member is getting angry.
